About the Author Olivier Gamiette originally studied to be a mechanical engineer before discovering the world of automotive design. The self-taught artist started his career as a 3D modeling engineer at Peugeot before moving on to become a professional automotive designer there. In his position he works on series models, concept cars, and other design projects.

By James Behtash Finally a book which covers the thought and design process for watch design! I've been searching for such a book for a very long time and came across this gem. Not only is Olivier Gamiette a talented car designer but as I've seen in his book a highly creative timepiece designer. This book provides guidance and structure to my own efforts to designing watches and I find it an invaluable resource and inspiration. In addition, the presentation is top notch all the way. It's not surprising to see a car designer also produce incredible watch designs as I've always felt the two go hand in hand beautifully. I'm looking forward to the next book!
