About the Author
Rachel B. Glaser is the author of the story collection Pee On Water and the poetry collection MOODS. She is a recipient of the McSweeney's Amanda Davis Fiction Award, and her work has appeared in the anthologies 30 Under 30 and New American Stories. Nylon has cited her as one of the "Coolest Female Poets to Know Right Now." She lives in Northampton, Massachusetts.

The writing is fast and fun and full of peppy fireworks and often great humor. The characters are not always easy to take but they are alive and full of fury and hope and clanging judgement. You get to be so close to them, in their unbridled and unmuted thoughts--early 20's collegial hatred and love and need to become. It's a sad novel in the end but a beauty. Read.

And while I'd never want to be friends with them in real life I loved Paulina and Fran on the page and yes By Matilda This is the cycle of a friendship set in art school but at the core it's about being human and what makes Paulina and Fran who they are--desires, thoughts, fears, anger, jealousy, aspirations... This was one of those books I wanted to highlight so many sentences and never forget them. And while I'd never want to be friends with them in real life I loved Paulina and Fran on the page and yes, I laughed at things I shouldn't have.
