0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Well-written and interesting patterns By Lauren I was very happy to get my hands on this book! Normally, knitting books tend to have a lot of patterns that aren't my style, or just not things I would want to knit. I would guess about 50% of a typical knitting book interests me at best. This book, however, seems to hit it off (for me) more often than not! I would say there are only 3 patterns I didn't immediately want to cast on (and that's just due to my own preferences). The photography is beautiful, instructions seem detailed and easy to understand. I think she did a great job coming up with interesting construction techniques as well - the "cuff-to-cuff socks" in particular have me intrigued. Another great aspect is the customization aspects! The "choose your own adventure" hat and cowl make it easy to change up the look of the items with the provided charts for different colorwork/stitch patterns. Fun! I can't wait to get knitting. Hoping to seeing more books from Courtney soon!

By Andrea R Alchin Courtney is one-of-a-kind when it comes to the knitwear design community. Her unique style and approach make every pattern in this book worth knitting! With a growing family myself, I can't wait to get some of these patterns on my needles!
