About the Author Carey Martell is the Chief Executive Officer of Martell Broadcasting Systems, Inc. Carey formerly served as the Vice President of Thunder TV, the internet television division of Thunder Digital Media. In the past he has also been the Director of Alumni Membership for Tech Ranch Austin as well as the event organizer for the Austin YouTube Partner monthly meetups. Prior to his role at MBS, Inc. and his career as a video game developer and journalist, Carey served in the US Army for 5 years, including one tour of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Carey also moonlights as the host of The RPG Fanatic Show, an internet television show which has accumulated over 3.7 million views.

NOT FOR HOBBYISTS By Toaden I consider Carey a friend and was sent this book to do a honest review.I feel this book was rushed and needs to go through another draft. Step by step directions like this become outdated very fast in the world of technology. In some ways it is already outdated, in other ways it is ahead of it's time. I say that because he talks about video production and teaches terms that have not yet reached the YouTube community yet (and some probably will never since they are aimed at companies (at least small teams) and not independent YouTubers. Keep in mind "small team YouTube channels" is a phrase that is just now becoming something that YouTube is promoting. With other topics such as algorithms (that constantly change) some may have already been changed.This is a great book for research. This is not the one stop shot that Carey intended it to be. It is full of filler that is meant to inform but it reads as a pamphlet that wants to be a textbook without the knowledge that connects everything together. This is the kind of book I've been looking for ever since I started my youtube. I keep searching online but didn’t find any good source like this. A complete detail and exact process that most marketer should have. I know I've done a lot of mistakes online and tons of money to subscribe and be a member in online tutorial. But nothing really works. I will surely study this book from time to time to get what i want to learn..tnx to the author Carey martell, it's really informative.
