The main characters were full of humanity and suffered injustices. Yet they found ways to cope and while the injustices they suffered were often severe, this book is about overcoming life's obstacles and feeling for others a sense of love and appreciation.I loved this book, I was moved and was left with a deep sense of how these characters struggled and never gave up. A real gem.
