About the Author
Originally from Edinburgh, Alison Ragsdale now lives near Washington, DC, with her husband and two very spoiled dogs. A bit of a nomad, Alison lived and worked in eight countries before settling in the United States. A former professional ballet dancer and marketing executive, she was educated in England and holds an MBA from the University of Leicester. She loves to read, spend time with family on both sides of the Atlantic, and throw parties involving bagpipers.

Beautifully written with well developed characters By EGP Beautifully written with well developed characters, the book takes you on a journey from Virginia to the breathtaking Isle of Skye in Scotland, where the scenery and even weather contribute to the mood and flow of the story. This is an excellent read for those who appreciate excellent writing and a story line that is driven by a wide spectrum of emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the author's next book.

When Heather thought she had lost her child, the emotional descriptions were so spot on, I almost couldn't read on. The relationships in the book seemed very honest, too. Nothing was rushed. This was a lovely book. am eagerly looking forward to her next offering.

In FINDING HEATHER, I love the thoughtful descriptions of the locales and the characters are very relatable, beautifully flawed and unforgettable. I was moved by the story from start to finish and it will be one of my favorite go-to books when an escape is in order and the house is finally quiet.
