From the Author WARNING: This story is controversial and not even close to being politically correct. This story came to me sort of like the strangers in the story--it just appeared. I was amazed to find out how some of the actual dates meshed so well with the story line. Some of it was planned. I knew the dates for the birth of Israel. But other 'coincidences' were not. It just happened. For example the BP oil spill on Hitler's birthday? Wow. I never knew that until after I'd written the story line. It was so far beyond coincidence with how it merged so perfectly with the story line that I just had to edit it in to the drama. I don't mean to make a political statement but I do mean to state the Truth as I see it without backing down for fear of offending anyone. It may sound harsh, but 'Thou shalt not offend" is not one of the Ten and I make no apology to anyone who may be offended by this story line. Reimagine By Jude Urbanski Though written with an intriguing and unusual fictional twist connecting two, modern-day world powers in a relational way, this story imparts a theological treatise which historically began with the biblical figures of Ishmael and Isaac. Felt by many to be the beginning of present political and religious differences between Arab and Christian cultures.However, the author says that the thread that weaves the story together comes from a belief in the strength of family, the power of prayer and the unending battle raging against these factors. He feels, though separated, the two worlds can be united. There can be global investment through love and prayer and believing God is involved in our lives and that we each have a part in this on-going battle of good versus evil.Another from-the-heart Spurling book. Worth reading and pondering.
