About the Author With more than two million books in print, David D. These books are well known for delivering a user guide that the manufacturer should have written. The guide is written in plain English, is well illustrated and clearly laid out.Why only 4 stars? There is a rather obvious error in Figure 2.3, the illustration for "The Nikon's D5500 Back Panel". It shows the Mode dial, but calls it the Command dial. The description describes the Command dial, but the illustration doesn't even show Command dial (is cut off on right side of picture). The Mode dial is accurately shown and described in Figure 2.12. The Command dial is also shown in Figure 2.12, but is not described. The page locations of these two descriptions should be swapped (and should have been caught by the editor).
