I'm not sure if perhaps more than one artist was involved in drawing them as they are so different. They span the range of silly and fun to classic and elegant (though most are on the fun side.) My favorite (and first to color) will absolutely be the Halloween scene with the cat on the porch. I think it is adorable. For a cat lover, there are sure to be many designs among the 40 that will suit your fancy.The pages are printed on thin white paper which is not perforated. The designs are printed on one side of the page with the back left blank. The designs stop well short of the glued binding and can easily be removed with a pen knife if you so choose.My gel pens and markers all leaked through this paper. My coloring pencils went on well but left a shadow at the back of the page, too. Not a problem, though, as I can put a piece of chipboard or a couple of heavy weight pieces of paper under the page I am working on to keep the ink from leaking through.What is really quite nice about this line of books by Grace Sure is that she is also making them available for you to print additional copies if you purchase the book. You can either purchase the book and get the access to the on-line version. If you prefer, you buy the Kindle version of the book or, at the time I am writing this review, you can use your Kindle Unlimited to borrow it, too. You can decide to print the designs on whatever paper can use in your printer. When I have this option, I use my laser printer on chipboard. It keeps it safe from my water-based markers and water colors and gives me a good surface to color on. I may do this for a couple of prints but I am happy with the quality of the printed book for most of my coloring needs.A free sample of this coloring book was provided for test and review purposes.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Variety of designs to choose from By ManxMomma This book isn't exactly for adults. There are several childish pictures that didn't interest me. There are some that were just repetitive pictures and then others that were so detailed that they were almost impossible to color. I guess depending on your interests there might be something to find in the book. It might be good for adults and children to color together and would make the child feel like they were coloring pictures from mom's (or dad's) book. There were bonus designs in the back from other styles of books besides the cats. Each design was printed on one side of the sheet of paper. That's a good thing.

They are whimsical and cute. I hoped for a bit more variety in the styles of cats. The designs are not as varied and unique as other Grace Sure coloring books. Don't take me wrong, this a very nice coloring book. But I have enjoyed a number of other Grace Sure books and she set such high standard in my head that his one fell just a little bit short in terms of variety. The designs are well suited to coloring, the lines are clean and clear, there is not a lot of shading in the designs themselves, and the details are intricate without being overly small.As her other coloring books the layout of the book is excellent:- The back of each is left blank so there is no bleed through.- The book is just artwork, no filler pages with sayings- The back of the book has full size sample designs from her other books so you have an idea of you like those books as wellOne thing I miss when I shop on line is doing a flip through of the book like I would do in a brick and motar store, so in my video I do a flip through for you so you can get a glimse at various designs with your own eyes.I received a review copy of this book.Ali Julia review
