2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I loved reading this book By Christi Checkett I loved reading this book. I have been to the author's home and I can see that she walks the talk. Her home is beautiful and what's more important, it is comfortable. Once you are there, you hate leaving. This feeling is due to the great hospitality displayed to all guests by Linda and her husband. I learned a lot from reading this book and I have put a lot of it into practice. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to know more on the art of home making ie. making a true home.

I work full time and have no children, but I still love coming home. Of course we would all love coming home more if the house was freshly vacuumed, a clean scent wafting throughout the halls and healthy food was waiting in the fridge. Home for Good is full of creative ideas and practical tips for organizing your home and using your time efficiently so that your home can be a haven and place of respite. We all need to be reminded of what things in life are truly important and Linda does this in a well written and delightful book.

I just couldn't put it down, and when I did I felt refreshed and inspired. It's chock full of practical, Godly advice that seems to have lost it's place in this world and I pray that this books sparks a revival in women to take pride in creating beautiful, orderly homes.
