About the Author
P.J. Sanders is a retired teacher, counselor, and elementary school principal.
He lives with his wife, Cindy, and his dog, Josie, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Josie came into Sanders's life after his first dog was shot and killed by another hunter in North Dakota.

I found myself going from laughter to tears and back again. Though I am not your traditional dog lover, I gained great insight into the relationship between a man and his dog. Thoroughly enjoyable!
