The Workshop Manual (Repair Manual), which comprises the second - and largest - portion of this manual, is the official factory manual. By A Customer This is a collection of reprints of the original Jaguar service manuals for the Series 1 and Series 2 E-Type. It also includes a reprint of the original owners handbook as well as a section on modifying your E-Type for what would now be considered vintage racing. This is the only service manual you will need to maintain these vintage models. It does not have the nuts and bolts details that you might want if your were restoring an E-Type but nontheless it is a must have if you own one of these cars

The best book available on the subject By andertonm@juno.com I haven't found a better book to lead one through the intricacies of this elegant machine. Even the non-mechanic E-type owner should have this book as a reference, and it would be a wise investment for those thinking of buying one of the world's finest automobiles

I bought Haynes per recommendation via these reviews, but essentially its a mini-me version of this book with exact same diagrams and nothing more to offer. Get this one.
