The sentient starfighter, suffering from a type of post traumatic stress disorder, struggles with a temper. Another favorite is a hermaphrodite four-legged heavy gravity alien who pilots a cargo ship that has flawed artificial gravity and is overrun by some kind of plant growth and an ecosystem of small animals. I enjoyed reading the alien points of view. The humans were just as interesting, their struggles kept me turning the pages"

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great combination! By Hard2Please This book is a great sci-fi prehistoric combo. From prehistory we meet several tribes. Some are hunter gatherers, some are beginning to farm and some have started to domesticate animals. It is a fascinating time in humanity's past. So many different types of cultures were beginning to emerge. From the sci-fi genre we meet several different alien species. Some of them are explorers, others are guardians of peace and, of course, others are eternally at war. Each plot line merges with the other as the aliens find themselves in our solar system and then on our planet itself. Some really funny scenes happen when the humans first meet the "shaman from the star". Some really touching scenes occur when humans try to explain love to a cyborg. Further complications involve two of the alien species attempts to communicate since one has no idea the other exists. I really enjoyed the book. It was well written and very entertaining. Looking forward to the next one.
